City of Tuscaloosa and Mayor Walt Maddox to Host 2026 Mayor's Cup

The City of Tuscaloosa and Mayor Walt Maddox will host the 2026 Tuscaloosa Mayor’s Cup on Saturday, April 25 at 8 a.m. in Downtown Tuscaloosa. The Mayor’s Cup, presented by Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, raises funds for the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative, which aims to expand Pre-K access for Tuscaloosa children.
The annual 5K has been held since 2007 and is open to all ages. Participants are welcome to run or walk. Timing chips attached to race bibs will be used to determine race results, and awards will be given.
